- Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) (Canada) — The CKC is the primary registry body for purebred dogs in Canada. The CKC also regulates dogs shows and performance events and recognizes over 160 breeds.

- Hong Kong Kennel Club (Hong Kong) — The Hong Kong Kennel Club Limited is the only Hong Kong member of the FCI and the only Kennel Club in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Recognised by official Kennel Clubs throughout different countries in the world.

- Hundaræktarfélags Íslands (Iceland) — The Icelandic Kennel Club was founded in September 1969 and is open to all dog owners in Iceland. The Icelandic Kennel Club is the only club in Iceland that is a member of the Nordic Kennel Union (NKU). The club issues pedigrees in accordance with FCI and Icelandic Kennel Club regulations and keeps a registry of all pure bred dogs in Iceland.

- Ente Nazionale della Cinofilia Italiana (ENCI) (Italy) — The ENCI was founded in 1882 with the first subject to be registered being an Italian Bloodhound by the name of Falco, born in 1875. Today, the ENCI is a member of the FCI and has a membership of approximately 2000 breeders along with 100,000 aggregate members and there are over 100 ENCI delegations throughout the national territory. The ENCI is particularly interested in the promotion of the Italian breeds of which there are 14 of ancient origin.

- The Kennel Club (United Kingdom) — The Kennel Club registers over 200,000 pedigree dogs every year. The KC currently recognizes 196 breeds of dogs. The KC also licenses over 5000 canine events every year which are managed by the approximately 2000 dog clubs in Britain.
- American Kennel Club (AKC) (United States) — The AKC maintains a registry for purebred dogs, sponsors more than 15,000 dog events each year held by licensed and member clubs, and promotes responsible dog ownership.
- United Kennel Club (UKC) (United States) — The UKC is the second oldest and second largest all-breed dog registry in the United States. The UKC currently recognizes over 308 breeds of dogs, divided into eight breed groups.
- The Westminster Kennel Club (United States) — “Westminster is, undisputedly, America’s Dog Show.” The Westminster Kennel Club Annual Dog Show is the second longest continuously held sporting event in the United States, just one year behind the Kentucky Derby. The Westminster Kennel Club was established in 1877 and is America’s oldest organization dedicated to the sport of purebred dogs.
