Clubs in Canada:

  • Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Canada — The national breed club for the Bernese Mountain Dog in Canada.

  • Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Ontario — Dedicated to the Bernese Mountain Dog breed, the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Ontario was established to educate members and others in the care and training of the breed; to encourage responsible breeding to the betterment of the Bernese Mountain Dog; to bring to the attention of the public the benefit of the breed; and to foster fellowship among Bernese Mountain Dog owners, breeders and fanciers.
  • Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Quebec — Founded on January 3rd, 1999, the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Quebec is a bilingual organization devoted to the well being and progress of the breed. Membership includes people involved in breeding, showing and all areas of training as well as pet owners and berner lovers.
  • Club Québécois du Bouvier Bernois — Le club Québécois du Bouvier Bernois a été fondé le 3 janvier, 1999. C’est un organisme bilingue voué à l’amélioration et à la qualité de vie des bouviers bernois. Ses membres proviennent des différents milieux: du monde de l’élevage, de la compétition, du dressage à l’obéissance ou de simples propriétaires et amoureux de la race.

  • Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America, Inc. — The national breed club for the Bernese Mountain Dog in the United States. Note: An excellent resource for information about the breed.
  • Grand Canyon State Bernese Mountain Dog Club (Arizona)
  • Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Northern California — A regional club recognized by the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America (BMDCA).
  • Sierra West Bernese Mountain Dog Club (California) — Recognized as a regional club by the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America and the American Kennel Club. Membership is mostly concentrated in the Northern California region, but with members as far away as Ontario, Massachussetts and England. Primarily serving the East Bay Counties of Alameda, Contra Costa and Santa Clara, there are no geographic restrictions to membership.
  • Bernese Mountain Dog Club of the Rockies (Colorado) — Founded in October, 1987, the club is an official regional club recognized by the national breed club, the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America (BMDCA). Membership includes people who are involved in breeding, showing, and all areas of training, as well as those whose Berners are cherished family members.
  • The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Northeastern Illinois
  • Heartland Bernese Mountain Dog Club (Kansas) — Established in 1990, the Heartland Bernese Mountain Dog Club serves Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
  • Mason Dixon Bernese Moutain Dog Club — This regional club serves the Berner community north and south of the Mason Dixon line. Membership is not restricted to this region and members from anywhere in the country are welcome.
  • Heart of Michigan Bernese Mountain Dog Club — The club represents breeders, exhibitors, fanciers and owners of Bernese Mountain Dogs in mainly the southern half of Michigan’s lower peninsula. However, the club welcomes members from Northern Michigan, Northern Indiana, and Northwestern Ohio.
  • The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of the Greater Twin Cities (Minnesota) — Established in 1988 to promote the development, improved breeding practices, and well-being of the purebred Bernese Mountain Dog. The club strives to provide education about the breed to both its members and prospective Bernese Mountain Dog owners.
  • Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Nashoba Valley (New England states) — Founded in 1981 and recognized as a regional club by the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America and the American Kennel Club. Currently there are more than 600 members in the New England states and beyond.
  • Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Watchung (New Jersey) — Founded in 1981, the BMDCW is a regional club located in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania, and is recognized by the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America. Club members are primarily from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.
  • Potomac Valley Bernese Mountain Dog Club — Most of members reside in Maryland, D.C., Virginia and Pennsylvania. Meetings and activities are generally held in the greater metropolitan area of Washington, D.C.
  • Lone Star Bernese Mountain Dog Club (Texas) — Formed in May of 1991 by a small group of Texas enthusiasts located in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. The LSBMDC is a regional club of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America (BMDCA).
  • The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Greater Seattle (Washington) — Membership is open to all people with interest in the Bernese Mountain Dog. You do not have to own a dog to be a member.
  • Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Southeastern Wisconsin — Founded in 1977 and an AKC licensed regional Bernese Mountain Dog club recognized by the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America. Membership includes people who are involved in breeding, showing and all areas of training as well as those whose Berners are cherished family members.
